The Government House - Nassau - Former Governor Residence

The original Government House (1801) suffered damages in 1929 leaving only the choice to tear it down. 1932 brought the building of a new Government House, a white and pink building which stands as testament to British influence in Nassau, Bahamas. If you plan to visit the Government House while in the Bahamas try finding time on Saturday. Every other Saturday at 10am exhibits a ceremony known as the Changing of the Guard, in which music and festivities make for spectacular photo opportunities.
